About

The Village of Rosalind has a beautiful community hall available for meetings, weddings, dances, etc. The village also has a drop-in centre perfect for birthdays, reunions, family gatherings, showers, and more. There is also a camp site within the village located by the ball diamonds. In 2014, the Rosalind Recreation Association installed a new washroom with showers. The arena is a natural ice arena so the ice is seasonal but the arena is used all year round for reunions, anniversaries, ball tournaments, birthdays, etc. All streets within the village are paved which makes for excellent walking all year round.

Village of Rosalind Transfer Site (Dump) Hours

Effective April 2, 2017:
Rosalind Transfer Site is PERMANENTLY CLOSED
The Village of Rosalind will still have our annual Spring Clean Up and the “dump” will be open that day and free to Village residents. Date TBA.  Located on the Transfer Site Gate is a sign stating options of other transfer sites, days and times plus FRSWMA phone number.

Provided to residents are the co-mingle bin, cardboard bin and Compost bin (new).  This compost bin is located along the transfer site fence, easy access for residents.  It is only for garden refuse, grass clippings, leaves and organic yard waste. Only compostable bags allowed.  No plastic bags, kitchen scraps or branches.  Please respect these bins and only put in them what is allowed.

Weekly curbside pickup remains the same.

Village of Rosalind Fire Department
The Rosalind Fire Department is operated by volunteers. If the Fire Department did not exist in Rosalind, (or any other small villages), you would have to wait for a fire truck from Camrose. We need to keep our local Fire Department in Rosalind and they are in need of volunteers. If you are a member of the Rosalind/Kesley Community and would like to be a volunteer for our Fire Department, please contact Peter Tobler @ 375-2104 for more information.

Council Meetings are the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. Dates are subject to change so please call before attending.

The Village of Rosalind is part of the Parkland Regional Library. Although we do not have a PRL in our village, the Village of Bawlf does.
