Utility Changes & Updates

Garbage – The Local Improvement Fee will no longer be included in your Property Tax Notice.  This Municipal Levy will now be included on your Water and Sewer invoices. This is still an annual fee of $200.  You can choose to pay it monthly or you can pay it in one lump sum, your choice. This fee is subject to the 5% penalty.  Before, it was the Tax Notice Penalty of 10% & 18%. A Garbage Bylaw will be implemented and will be posted on the Bylaw page when passed by council.

Development Permits:

Village of Rosalind has approved the following permits:

• September 2020 – Modular Home 101 Main Street
• March 12, 2019 – taproom and brewery in the school building

Village of Rosalind Meeting Date Changes:

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING – Council has cancelled the AGM for 2021.

COVID-19 – regularly scheduled council meetings will be held at the Drop In Center to accommodate Physical Distancing.

Village of Rosalind meetings are held the second Thursday of every month at 7:30 p.m. with our Annual General meeting held in the spring.

Village of Rosalind would like to welcome Ron Gullickson to our Public Works team!  Ron resides in Donalda and brings with him valuable experience and knowledge in the day to day operations of a small village.  He is certified Small Systems Water and Wastewater Treatment operations.
